How much can a piggy bank do?

Ask Pari. She knows.

Her father lay in a hospital, paralyzed and unable to speak. His treatment seemed insurmountable. That’s when Pari handed the doctors a faded pink piggy bank.

“I have saved a lot of coins in this,” she said, her voice steady despite her tears. “You can use all of them to make Papa speak again.”

Moved, the doctors put her father through intensive therapy sessions using his favorite songs.

Three months later, Pari walked into the hospital…with her father beside her. And he spoke in a clear voice.

What can a piggy bank do? More than we think.

We think huge, massive, and impressive. But small things done in faith create a wealth unmeasured by economists.

Jesus took five loaves and two fish and fed a multitude of thousands. In the Master’s hands, great things get done.

So, before you despair that you can do nothing, do the smallest thing. Offer a smile. Speak a kind word. Say a prayer. None appears great, but all have explosive power unknown to humans.

Use your spiritual piggy bank. It may work a miracle.
