Do you want a good life? Then laugh more.

Laughter increases oxygen in the body, helping the heart pump. Now, some doctors use “laugh therapy.”

Subjects watched comedies and listened to stand-up comedy shows. As they did, instruments measured their body’s responses.

Oxygen in the heart increased by at least 10%. Blood tests revealed reductions inflammation. That reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke.

In short, if you want to live better, laugh more.

Man continues to do nothing more than uncover the design of God in our bodies.

Return to the Bible and the wise man Solomon observed:

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22, ESV)

The happy are healthy, which leads to greater happiness.

Find something to laugh about today, even if it at yourself. Find friends to laugh with you.

It will do good for your body but even more for your soul.
